Tonight – Monday July 8 – Duck Creek’s Stated Meeting – This will be WM Tawwater’s last Stated Meeting. Stop in and wish him well and help promote peace and harmony among all Garland Masons
Tuesday July 9 – 441’s Stated Meeting – looks like it should prove to be a great evening. After addressing our usual business we have a guest speaker, and then we will rededicate the Lodge on the Master’s obligation. I look forward to seeing many faces there for a great evening.
Thursday July 11 – Chapter and Council Stated meeting
Looking forward to a great Masonic Week
Under normal circumstances I would have been inclined to call the Lodge dark this Tuesday due to the Holiday coming, but we have an EA ready to turn in the first part of his proficiency and there is nothing more important than our new Masons. So come on out and support this Brother. Dinner will be brisket and will be served at 6 PM – Lodge will open at 7 PM
A note to officers and committee chairs – directly following the end of Lodge we will have a short officers meeting in the conference room in which we will set the agenda for July’s Stated Meeting. Should a committee wish to report at Stated Meeting they MUST be present at the officers meeting to submit a copy of their committee report for review.
Don’t forget that Wednesday, July 3rd we have been invited to White Rock Lodge in Addison for the Kaboom Town Celebration – you can read about the Addison celebration here http://www.addisontexas.net/events/kaboomtown/
Looking forward to seeing you all.
Saturday and Sunday 10-4 at Bass Pro which is on Bass Pro Drive here in Garland.
Look forward to seeing many of you there. This is a great thing we do for The Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children!
Tuesday – Garland #441 will be hosting a Mayoral and Council Candidate Forum.
This is a great opportunity to turn out and meet the candidates, some of whom will have a direct impact on the future of Garland.
The forum will start at 7 PM – there will be no dinner.
Bring your wife, or girlfriend, bring a neighbor, bring a friend.
This is a great opportunity to bring non-Masons to the Lodge and give them a tour of the building, while taking an active part in Garland’s goings on.
Forum panelists will consist of our own John McDonald and Dwayne Gentsch and will be rounded out by former Garland Mayor, Bob Day.
Wednesday – Grand Master’s Visit to the 14th District @ Hella Temple. Tickets are $20 if you prepay. You can either contact me, or pay online at http://www.14mwsa.org/events-mwsa.html
Tickets at the door will be $25.
A reminder that this Saturday the Garland Scottish Rite Club will host the Master Craftsman Study Group from 9 AM – 11 AM this Saturday, April 13, 2013.
