THIS WEEKS EVENTS 3/8/2015

Monday – After a brief Officer’s Meeting, some of us will be going to Duck Creek’s Stated Meeting with egg on our face. We will be presenting them the Washer Tournament Trophy. They eat at 6:00, meeting starts at 7:00pm.

Tuesday – Our Community Builder’s award will be presented in the dining room in conjunction with dinner at 6:00. Bring your ladies!

At 7:00pm, we will open an Entered Apprentice Mason’s Lodge for the purpose of our March Stated Communications Meeting. This Stated Meeting will have a special message presented to our EAs. All EAs are encouraged to attend, whether you were initiated last week or last year. Instructors, please personally encourage your EA students to attend.

Thursday – York Rite Stated Meeting, dinner 6:00pm

THIS WEEKS EVENTS 2/15/15

Tuesday – Dinner at 6:00pm, followed by Entered Apprentice Proficiency and Master Masons Degree floor practice, in preparation for our MM degree Tuesday week; Our District Instructor Brother John McDonald will be leading us.

Wednesday – Alexander C. Garrett Lodge will be having a Master Mason’s Degree performed by the Knights of Mecca. Dinner at 6:00pm

Saturday – Work Day, beginning at 8:00am. Please come out to help, as the more help we have, the sooner we can be complete.

THIS WEEKS EVENTS 2/7/15

Tuesday – Dinner (potato bar) at our Lodge at 6:00pm, followed by (Master Mason’s) Stated Meeting at 7:00pm. We will be discussing our Lamar Awards, Past Master’s and Masonic Service Awards event, and Community Builder award at 7:00pm. Our Brother Andy Long will have a special message for our Master Masons. As always, a door prize raffle will follow (officers are exempt).

Saturday – Garland Masonic Bodies (that’s us) Blood Drive will be held at the Curtis Culwell Special Events Center, 4999 Naaman Forest Blvd (down from Sam’s Club). We will be soliciting people during a cheerleading competition and escorting them to the BloodCare Bus this Saturday and Sunday, 12 noon to 4:30pm each day. This is the single most charitable thing we do as Masons in Garland, and we could use your help for a couple of hours either day; all EAs, FCs, and MMs are asked to help.

THIS WEEKS EVENTS 1/25/15

Tuesday – Dinner at our Lodge at 6:00pm, followed by Entered Apprentice Degree at 7:00pm.

Saturday – Grand Masters Conference, Hella Temple, Garland 9:00am registration, 10:00am start, ending at noon. All members; EAs, FCs, and Master Masons are encouraged to come hear our newly elected Grand Master speak. There is no admission fee, and a monetary donation will be accepted for lunch, followed by a short question and answer session.
