THIS WEEKS EVENTS

Monday-Officer’s Meeting-(dinner 6:00pm, meeting 6:30 pm) Dress is casual.

Tuesday-Lodge will be DARK, as we will be travelling to the RICHARDSON Lodge for the "traveling" gavel.  We will be meeting at our Lodge at 6:00pm for anyone wishing to carpool together.  Everyone is encouraged to attend, as the Lodge with the most    visitors gets to take the gavel home. Dress is business casual, and wear your lodge shirts if you have one (please, no jeans or tennis shoes). Richardson Lodge is easy to find; go West on Beltline Road and as soon as you cross under Hwy 75, take the first right hand turn and it is literally under the water tower.

Thursday-We will be having an informal study group.  If you are interested in freshening up on your work, or pursuing an esoteric certificate, please join us.-6:30-no meal.  Dress is casual.

I hope everyone has a blessed week,

ps. Please mark your calendars for July 12, 10:00 am, Duck Creek 1419 Installation of Officers, and July 12, 3:00pm, A.C. Garrett #1216 Installation of Officers.  Let us show our support for these Sister Lodges, as you see many familiar faces being installed.

This week’s schedule

Brethren,

Wanted to thank all the golfers. What a great way to spend a Saturday!
A special shout-out again to Brother Bob Scarborough! Thank you very much for organizing such an outstanding event!

Tuesday is Stated Meeting, and our step up night. Our Senior and Junior Stewards will be moving up a chair and the South will be occupied by a Past Master.
From what I hear there will be brisket and stuffed jalapeno peppers for dinner. Come on out and support the future!

On June 3rd Garland Lodge is going to have an open house. This is an opportunity to bring those folks who have asked you questions in regard to Masonry to dinner.
Afterward we will retire to the Lodge room where the interested parties will have an opportunity to learn about the history, philosophy and philanthropic nature of Masonry. Should they, at that time, inquire as to how they may become Masons petitions will be made available to them.

Look forward to seeing you.

Sincerely and Fraternally

This week’s schedule

Brethren,

Tuesday night – We will be hearing the first section of an EA proficiency exam, then stay in the Lodge Room for floor practice. Dress is casual min.

Wednesday night – MWSA Meeting, Trinity Valley Lodge #1048, where we will hear a talk involving “Appendant Bodies” of Masonry. If you have not attended a MWSA meeting before, this is more or less a “District” meeting for the Lodges of the 14th Masonic District. This is a very informative meeting, where past and present DDGMs, District Instructors, and local Lodge Leaders get together. It is the “grapevine” of our District, where information is shared between Lodges, and upcoming events of each Lodge is announced. Dinner 6:30, program 7:30. This is an open meeting, and dress is business casual min.

Looking forward to seeing you sometime this week,
Sincerely and Fraternally,
Keith Dancer
