2nd ANNUAL WINTER GARLAND MASONIC BODIES WASHER TOURNAMENT

I am pleased to announce Garland Lodge #441 will keep the coveted trophy at our Lodge for another year! It was a hard fought battle, and our brothers from down the street put up a valiant fight. There was a lot of teasing going on, but peace and harmony prevailed, and a great time was had by all. Please come to our March Stated Communications Meeting, where the trophy will be presented to our Lodge by the Brethren from Duck Creek Lodge #1419.

My personal thanks to all that attended,

Master Masons’ Awards tonight

Brethren,

This is just a reminder of our banquet tonight, where we will be honoring long time Master Masons, Past Masters, and our Masonic widows. We have made diligent efforts to get as many of those honorees to come, and would like to see a lot of support by us regular Masons as well.

Dinner at 6:00pm, open Lodge at 7:00pm.

Please come at 5:00 if you can help set up. Please come looking sharp, as we will be around a lot of beautiful ladies.

I hope to see all of you there!

Keith

Work day

Just a quick note to “pay the craft their wages”, and thank the 14 1/2 men who helped us work at our Lodge last night. A lot of work was done, and I think all will notice a difference next time you come visit the Lodge (I hope very soon)!

Also thanks to Eric for the light meal,

Work Day Saturday, December 1, 7:30AM-Noon

As we discussed at our Stated Communications Meeting last week, we will have another work day on Saturday, December 1. Donuts and coffee will be served at 7:30AM, with work beginning at 8:00AM. We should be complete by noon. We will be oiling the wood paneling in the dining room, and cleaning light fixtures. If we have enough help, we will be replacing light bulbs throughout the building and painting in the Motley Hall study rooms. All supplies will be furnished, with the exception of two ladders that I am asking Bros. Edwards and Long to bring. This will be the last work day of the calendar year and I know you are proud of the way our facilities are looking, especially just in time for Christmas! I would like to thank again the brethren who have helped with the first two work days this year, and thank each of you in advance for your help on December 1. Lastly, Happy Thanksgiving to each of you and your loved ones; as we take time to remember our blessings, let us not forget what a beautiful Lodge facility we have!

Fraternally,
